Most youth athletes only practice sport skills.
SURGE builds the strength, speed, and coordination that make those skills actually work.
✔ Improve speed and agility

Meet the Coaches
Brandon and Courtney
Brandon and Courtney are the coaches behind SURGE Athletics and have spent more than 16 years helping athletes train, move better, and stay strong.
Both competed as collegiate athletes and continue to stay active in sports today. Through years of coaching and running their gym, they noticed a common problem in youth sports.
Too many young athletes spend all their time practicing sport skills, but never develop the strength, coordination, and movement mechanics that support those skills.
That gap often leads to:
• preventable injuries
• slower athletic development
• frustration and burnout
The SURGE program was created to help solve that problem.
Every session focuses on helping athletes build a strong physical foundation so they can move better, perform better, and enjoy their sport longer.
As parents of two young athletes themselves, Brandon and Courtney care deeply about creating a training environment that is:
✔ safe
✔ encouraging
✔ challenging
✔ development-focused
Their goal is simple:
Help young athletes become stronger, faster, and more confident — both on and off the field.

Designed Specifically for Developing Athletes
This program isn’t adult-style training adapted for kids.
Every SURGE session is designed specifically for young athletes who are still growing and developing.
Training focuses on building the physical foundation athletes need to succeed in sports while protecting their long-term health.
Athletes learn:
✔ Proper sprint mechanics
✔ Safe strength training techniques
✔ Balance, coordination, and body control
✔ Movement patterns that support injury resilience
Sessions are run in small groups so every athlete receives coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
The goal isn’t just to train harder.
It’s to help young athletes move better, perform better, and stay healthy throughout their sports careers.
The Hidden Problem in Youth Sports Training
Today’s young athletes practice their sport more than ever.
More practices.
More games.
More tournaments.
But many athletes are still struggling with:
• lack of speed and explosiveness
• poor coordination and balance
• recurring minor injuries
• frustration during competition
The issue usually isn’t effort.
Most young athletes are working hard.
The problem is that many programs focus almost entirely on sport-specific skills, while the physical foundation that supports those skills is often overlooked.
Without developing strength, coordination, and movement mechanics, athletes can only improve so much.
That foundation is what allows athletes to:
✔ move faster
✔ change direction safely
✔ generate more power
✔ stay healthy throughout the season
That’s exactly what the SURGE training system is designed to develop.
Skill Practice Only
• Repeating sport drills
• Limited physical development
• Increased injury risk
• Slower athletic progress
Skill + Athletic Development
• Speed training
• Strength training
• Movement mechanics
• Injury resilience
